Why did I wait?

Callie had left me waiting on the bed while she, as she said, just had a quick shower. After, almost, forty-five minutes though I began to wonder what her idea of quick was. I could still hear the water, but nothing else and began to worry that something, which I hadn't heard, could have happened. Looking for love

As I waited, nervously, I began to wonder if I was doing the right thing. For too long I had been trying, and failing, to find the one person who would make me happy. I'd given every form of dating I could think of a try, all without success, so when I saw the advert for a new dating site I decided I had nothing to lose.

My time is now
