Tantalizing Tuesday Tease: A perfect date

A perfect date

We'd only just left the club when the heavens opened and, within seconds, the two of us were completely soaked. Instead of letting the weather ruin what had been a perfect night I wrapped my arms around Frankie's waist, and pulled her close.
“Are you glad you relented and let me take you out?” I asked, as our foreheads touched.
Wrapping her arms around the back of my neck she smiled.
“It's been perfect,” she replied.
“Hopefully you'll let me treat you to many more perfect nights.”
“I will. I'm just we'd done this sooner.”
“So do I but we have now, and no-one gave us a second glance.”
“Do you think anybody could tell?”
“I don't care if they did. You are stunningly beautiful and, just because you are transsexual, to me you are perfect.”
Smiling back at her I placed my lips against hers, and kissed her for the first time.
“Come on let's get back to yours,” Frankie gasped, as we finally pulled apart.
“Are you sure that's what you want?”
“I've never wanted anything more,” Frankie whispered softly. “That's if it's what you want as well.”

Flash Fiction Friday: Looking for love

Looking for love

As I waited, nervously, I began to wonder if I was doing the right thing. For too long I had been trying, and failing, to find the one person who would make me happy. I'd given every form of dating I could think of a try, all without success, so when I saw the advert for a new dating site I decided I had nothing to lose.
After twenty minutes, I was just about to leave, when the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen entered the room. After looking me up and down, in total silence, she walked over to me.
“You're absolutely perfect,” she whispered into my ear, before everything suddenly went dark.

Tantalizing Tuesday Tease: Starting over

Starting over

As I sat in the garden looking at the screen at the screen, my lips slowly curling up with a smile, I let my fingers hover above the keyboard. Staring back at me, with piercing green eyes. was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.
Picking up my coffee all I could do was gaze deeply in to her eyes, as I took in her flowing brunette hair, perfectly made up face and dazzling smile. After a few minutes I let my eyes fall, and began to read the screen.
Her name was Brooke, she enjoyed reading, going to the movies and romantic meals followed by dancing the night away. Apart from the clubs our interests were identical yet, even if they weren't, I would do anything to make her the most important woman in my life.
The only thing which worried me was I wasn't the best catch in the world, my job was boring office work and I hadn't dated in seven years.
Picking up my cup I stared at the screen before, without even thinking or meaning to, my fingers started to dance over the keyboard as I composed the message I hoped would start the next chapter of my life.
