Starting
over
As
I sat in the garden looking at the screen at the screen, my lips
slowly curling up with a smile, I let my fingers hover above the
keyboard. Staring back at me, with piercing green eyes. was the most
beautiful woman I had ever seen.
Picking
up my coffee all I could do was gaze deeply in to her eyes, as I took
in her flowing brunette hair, perfectly made up face and dazzling
smile. After a few minutes I let my eyes fall, and began to read the
screen.
Her
name was Brooke, she enjoyed reading, going to the movies and
romantic meals followed by dancing the night away. Apart from the
clubs our interests were identical yet, even if they weren't, I would
do anything to make her the most important woman in my life.
The
only thing which worried me was I wasn't the best catch in the world,
my job was boring office work and I hadn't dated in seven years.
Picking
up my cup I stared at the screen before, without even thinking or
meaning to, my fingers started to dance over the keyboard as I
composed the message I hoped would start the next chapter of my life.

Very nice and touching tease, Julez. You really captured the hope and anxiety he felt.
Nice, Julez. I love that his hesitation was contrasted by the automatic and almost involuntary nature of his typing.
Love, and hope, springs eternal. Wonderful, sweet post, Julez. Very promising. xo
Oh, how lovely. I hope it's the start of something beautiful :_)
Great teaser Julez. This is a story to continue. I need to know how he's going to win the lovely Brooke's heart
