Flash Fiction Friday: Unconditional Love

Here we go again, it's Flash Fiction Friday time.

As always the link for all the other wonderful flashers follows my post so be sure to click on it and see what else is on offer this week.

Unconditional Love

I was happy for the first time in my life, happy and settled. It had took a flight to another continent, leaving all my friends and everything I owned behind, to find that happiness but it was the easiest decision I had ever made.
Louisa and I had been planning our wedding when the plague struck, taking her from me in days, leaving me infected and alone in a foreign country.
Still I had her hand, the hand I was still going to put our ring on, that and the insanity the plague brought to those that survived.
