Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser: Lady in Red (Extended Version)
Greetings once again my wonderful friends and as Tuesday has come around yet again it is time for this week's Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser.
For my tease this week a few of you may recognize the picture, and indeed the first 100 words of my offering. This is because The picture was used for Flash Fiction Friday on 27th July and I decided 100 words just wasn't enough to do the picture justice.
So I took the 100 words from Friday, added another 100 and I am now proud to present to you
LADY IN RED (Extended version)
Entering the room I saw her dumped there only her skimpy red mini-dress and the ribbon, which had been wrapped from her ankles up her arms and finally, tightly, around her neck shielding her obvious beauty from me. The black tape on her face had been cut so her emerald green eyes caught the light and her long brown hair was tied neatly in a ponytail and deliberately trailed fully outwards. Walking closer to her I began to wonder why someone had done this to her when I saw her chest rise slightly. She was alive, barely breathing, but alive.
Dropping to my knees I bent over her and listened to her chest. There was definitely a feint heartbeat and I reached into my pocket for my mobile phone, when she weakly grabbed my wrist.
“Who returns?” I asked scooping her into my arms.
“The...bastard...that...did...this,” she gasped.
Straightening up I carried her through the house and out of the back door, before laying her on the scorched patch of grass at the back of the house and slowly unwinding the ribbon.
“Because I’m not the girl he thought I was,” she gasped. “Because I’m a fucking transsexual.”
Don't forget now you have finished with me, and my little tease, be sure to visit all the other wonderful authors that are taking part, at the link below, and enjoy their offerings as well.
And this week, because I love you all so much, THREE lucky people who leave a comment will each win ONE copy of WHICH EVER of my books they would like.
(Comment must be left before 23:59:59 on Sunday 5th July)
