Tantalizing Tuesday Tease: Love is all that matters

Love is all that matters

Ever since I'd first seen Brooke, on social media, I knew she was the woman for me. We spent hours, every day for a couple of months, getting to know nearly everything about each other. The trouble was I could tell she was hiding something, something she said she would only tell me face to face. Knowing she was the one for me whatever she had to tell me wouldn't change my feelings for her, we quickly arranged our first date.
Taking her to a quiet restaurant she dropped the bombshell, between our main course and dessert, that she was a pre-op transsexual. Almost choking on my wine I lifted my head, and stared deep into her eyes.
“I know I should have told you sooner,” she whispered. “I'm so sorry, and I'll understand if you want to walk away.”
Smiling at her I put my glass down, reached forward and took her hand in mine.
“Let me tell you something,” I began. “Ever since I first saw your picture I knew you were the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, so walking away from you is never going to happen.”

Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser: Our day will come

Our day will come

Daniella was perfect. She was everything I had ever wanted in a woman and, as I stared across the table at her, I knew it was now or never.
Pushing my chair back I dropped to one knee, and slipped my hand into my trousers. Slowly I removed the small, velvet, box and opened it.
“I love you with all my heart, Daniella, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” I told her, as the whole of the restaurant stared over at us. “Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”
“Oh, baby, of course I will,” she replied, although as she did I could see the tears forming in her eyes.
“I hope they are tears of happiness,” I whispered, as everyone around us began cheering and clapping.
“You know this is all we will ever be able to do, don't you?” Daniella whispered, between sobs. “With me being, you know, transsexual.”
“That shouldn't matter, baby,” I told her. “We have the right to be happy just like everyone else and hopefully, one day, everyone will realize that and the law will be changed, and then we will have our special day.”

Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser: In love...at last

In love...at last

Every relationship I had ever been in had never lasted more than a couple of months, three at most, and that was always down to me. As soon as things started to get serious I'd suddenly get cold feet, make up any excuse I could think of and break it off. At least that was how it used to be.
The day I first saw Eve though something inside me changed. For the first time ever I felt the tight knotting in my stomach, which friends had told me I would get when I met the right one and when she spoke her soft, seductive, tones turned my knees to jelly.
It took me another two weeks to ask her out and when I did, and she said yes, I felt like the happiest man in the world so by the time she whispered to me a few weeks later, when we were in a restaurant full of people, that she was a pre-op transsexual I didn't care. She was Eve, she was perfect, she was gorgeous and, more than anything, she was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
