Mutual feelings

“What are you doing?” I asked nervously, as Damon started to loosen his towel.

“I've seen how you look at me,” he replied, “and, the truth is, I feel the same.”

Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser: Reunited

Reunited

I couldn't believe my eyes when your name first came up on my PC. It had been so many years since we spoke, let alone seen each other but there you were, your image staring back at me from the screen, your friend request just waiting for an answer. Hurriedly I accepted, then sent you a quick thank you message.

The next few weeks rushed by as we talked about the past, and the present, until we arranged to meet for a coffee. Only when the day came the weather changed, from the excessive summer heat we had been enjoying into the heaviest thunderstorm for months, yet even that couldn't ruin the day, and the coffee was soon forgotten.

Grabbing your hand I stared deep into your eyes, saw the sign I was looking for and pulled you close. Wrapping my arms around your waist I pulled your close, and placed my lips against yours. As the rain soaked us both to the skin, our clothes becoming more and more like a second skin, I could feel your heart pounding against my chest, just as it had the first time we kissed, all those years earlier.
