Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser: Our day will come

Welcome back to The Crypt as I continue with my quest to get equality for everyone, no matter what their sexuality or gender.

Please read and leave a comment, if you wish, and then go and check out all my friends and their wonderful teases, by following the link.

Our day will come

Daniella was perfect. She was everything I had ever wanted in a woman and, as I stared across the table at her, I knew it was now or never.
Pushing my chair back I dropped to one knee, and slipped my hand into my trousers. Slowly I removed the small, velvet, box and opened it.
“I love you with all my heart, Daniella, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” I told her, as the whole of the restaurant stared over at us. “Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”
“Oh, baby, of course I will,” she replied, although as she did I could see the tears forming in her eyes.
“I hope they are tears of happiness,” I whispered, as everyone around us began cheering and clapping.
“You know this is all we will ever be able to do, don't you?” Daniella whispered, between sobs. “With me being, you know, transsexual.”
“That shouldn't matter, baby,” I told her. “We have the right to be happy, just like everyone else, and hopefully, one day, everyone will realize that and the law will be changed, and then we will have our special day.”

Such a beautiful and emotional teaser, Julez. You make the point so well. Yes, it shouldn't matter!

Julez, I have so enjoyed your posts with a message. The point is simply made through the real lives of the impact this really makes on people, just plain people, in love. Love and happiness are ethereal gifts from God bestowed on the deserving. If God doesn't mind whom He chooses to have fall in love, whom are we to say? Beautiful. xo

I hope they do get their happy-ever-after, along with everyone else. Love the message in this post.

The old proverb, "Love conquers all" is definitely strong between your two characters. Your message is neatly expressed to convince those who would be annoyed that their love should be sanctified with equality.

You're on a mission and no mistake, Julez. Stay with it - did I say keep the faith? Pretty sure I did, but after this week's tease it bears repeating.
