Flash Fiction Friday
No matter what I did I just couldn't get the figures to add up and, with the company accountants due later that day, I knew I had to do something. If they found out just how much money I had 'borrowed' to fund my addiction, an addiction called Angel and my reasons I had 'borrowed' the money, they would never believe me.
Panicking I screwed the latest piece of paper into a ball, looked around and, realizing that just throwing it in the waste basket wasn't a good idea, stuffed it into my mouth and began to chew rapidly.
