Flash Fiction Friday: Destination Happiness

Welcome all to another Flash Fiction Friday. This is where a group of writers all get together with the same image and try to come up with a small piece of flash fiction no longer than 100 words.

The link to all the other flashers follows my post and I hope you will all click it and see what everyone else has to offer.

Thank You

Destination happiness

As I stared out of the window at the plane, which I was due to board any minute, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Spinning around I came face-to-face with my best friend of fifteen years.
“What the fuck are you doing?” She asked placing her hand on my arm, “You don't even know where to begin looking.”
“I have a rough idea,” I replied.
You know the state that's all.”
“I know but if I don't do this I'll never know,” I replied, putting my arm around her shoulder, “and everyone deserves to be happy right?”

It would be great to just go, and find what who or what makes you happy... Great Flash!!

I don't quite understand why the reunion, why the friend found him while he was looking for her... got a little lost (but I'm hopped on meds, so I might just be slow). I love the sentiment though! Although confused on where's and whys, I'm taking home, happiness and friends. :D Great message.
