Poetic Justice (A Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser)

Welcome Creatures of the Night. Once again I am back with another Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser. As always there is one image and 200 words, no more no less.

I hope you enjoy what I have called Poetic Justice.

“Are you sure this is what you want Sam?” Mark asked, his arms wrapped around the tanned, muscular torso of the man he had adored for as long as he could remember.
“More than I ever realized,” came the reply.
Relief washed over Mark as he held Sam even tighter, afraid to let go in case he was dreaming, yet again. That was all he had done for months, dreamt of being in the position he was in now, and thanks to circumstances he had nothing to do with here they were, entwined, in each other’s arms.
The night that they had just spent together, making love for hours before falling asleep wrapped in each other’s arms proved what Mark had known all along, that Sam was only in the relationship with Rachel to appease his parents, parents who still lived in the dark ages, parents who still believed that love between two men was immoral.
Well they would show them that there was nothing immoral with it and if they didn’t like it they could go to hell, which would be poetic justice as that is where they would tell Mark and Sam that was where they were heading.

After you are finished with mine don't forget to visit all my wonderful friends and read their Tantalizing Tuesday Tales as well.

Beautiful, Julez. Love is fleeting and we need to take it, sieze it and ride it out wherever we find it. By the way, we will all be in good company in Hell. The only reason to go to Heaven is the weather. Loved this piece:) xo

Mark's in love! It came through so clearly. Let's hope Sam is strong enouph to stand with him. Damn, it shouldn't be this hard for them...

All I can say is that I love it. Just a beautiful reminder about how love is supposed to be - with no prejudices

Awesome story Julez, I loved it. To me, love is love no matter who it is between. It is a gift not everyone finds and when you do, you should grab on and never let go.

I love coming to your Crypt, it always brings me up and these days I can use some of that. (hug) You Rock, my friend.

This is such an aptly named post - Poetic Justice. I love the way you wove the title of this piece into the story. Truly, the people who live in glass houses and throw stones will receive Poetic Justice in the end. Excellent.

I've said this before but it is worthy of repeating - there is something about your writing that just grabs me...this was great and poetic justice is the universe's way of keeping things fair. Great TT! :)
