Flash Fiction Friday: Every picture tells a story

FLASH

FICTION

FRIDAY

Every picture tells a story

Standing with one hand covering her breasts and the other above her head, holding her hair out of the way, Carrie stared at her body in the mirror and allowed a smile to form on her lips. The last flower, the one just under her breast, the tenth she had added, had hurt like hell but it had to be done.
Ever since her first she had promised herself that after each new one she would add another. Besides she couldn't exactly go to their grave to pay her respects, not when it had been her that had put them there.

Wow. You left so much unsaid, but just enough to leave me whirling. I want to know what she did and I'm kind of glad I don't, lol. Fabulous Flash.

Very doomsday look at this photo and the story you wrote. I hope she doesn't put another one in the grave. Well written.
